Part-Time Seasonal Events Crew Member Needed

Our Events Team plays a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests, from lively music events and farm festivals to private celebrations and educational field trips.

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our Seasonal Events Crew! If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and love creating fun and engaging experiences, we’d love to meet you.

Hourly Range: $14.00-$16.00 an hour - Part-Time Seasonal Position! Required Availability must be available nights & weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement & Service – Provide a welcoming, fun, and safe experience for guests of all ages attending our public and private events.

• Clear Communication – Maintain open communication with guests, teammates, and the Events Manager to ensure smooth event operations.

• Event Execution – Assist with setup, operation, and teardown for events while maintaining a clean and inviting space.

• Sales & Service – Operate registers for ticket sales, snack bars, and gift shop items while providing bar and table service where applicable.

• Event Safety & Compliance – Conduct safety checks, monitor alcohol sales, and help maintain a secure event environment.

Essential Job Duties:

• Build positive rapport with guests while assisting with event activities.

• Assist with event setup and teardown, ensuring efficiency and cleanliness.

• Provide bar and table service for public and private events.

• Handle customer transactions and sales at festival ticket booths, bars, and merchandise stands.

• Guide visitors through festivals, field trips, and educational experiences.

• Assemble kits for educational programs and field trips.

• Monitor event flow, ensuring guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Other Responsibilities:

• Assist with gate admissions and ticket scanning.

• Maintain knowledge of Colonial Gardens’ offerings to answer guest questions and provide recommendations.

• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot issues and problem-solve as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required: Must be at least 21 years old (to serve/pour alcohol)

• Required: High School Diploma or GED

• Preferred: Experience in hospitality, events, or customer service

• Required: Must be able to obtain food & liquor handler permits

• Required: Weekend availability is required (most events occur on evenings and weekends).
